D-Calcium Pantothenate known as vitamin B5, is a kind of water-soluble vitamin B group, is also one of the essential nutrients for normal biological growth.D-Calcium Pantothenate can release pantothenic acid and calcium into the body.

D-Calcium Pantothenate is a white powder, odorless, little bitter in taste, hydroscopic. Its aqueous solution is neutral or slightly alkaline, soluble in Water, slightly soluble in Ethanol, insoluble in Chloroform or Ether.


 

Mainly used in medicine, food and feed additives. It is A component of coenzyme A, involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, and is an indispensable trace substance for human and animal to maintain normal physiological functions. More than 70% are used as feed additives. It is clinically used to treat vitamin B deficiency, peripheral neuritis, and colic after surgery. Involved in the metabolism of protein, fat and sugar in the body.

Use 1: As a food fortifier, can be used in infant foods, the dosage is 15~28mg/kg; in the drinking liquid is 2~4mg/kg.
